the artist 

Born in 1958 Malaysia, Eddie has worked as a designer, art director and professional illustrator. He started painting seriously a few years ago because of professional constraints and to date, his works are already being collected by friends and art enthusiasts from Malaysia, U.S., Germany, Korea, Singapore and Australia. The artist has always espoused to the idea that appreciating and interpreting art is a personal and individual affair. He encourages the viewer to deduce the meanings of his works freely as different minds perceive things differently and journey into a wondrous land of imagination, throwing the orthodox caution to the wind. A self-taught artist, Eddie studied Advanced Counselling and Child Psychology. He is life member of The National Art Gallery of Malaysia, member of Passion of Art Cultural Society, Chicago, U.S.A. and member of
Images & Poetry Artistic - Literary Movement, Italy.

He has held solo and group exhibitions and participated in international art fairs with artists from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, France, Korea, Mauritius, Philippines, Canada and Belgium. In 2009, paintings from his "Journey" series were juried, selected and appeared in "Best of 200 Worldwide Artists 2010" (mixed media category) published in the U.S.A.
